                                                                                       JUNE

We had a great turnout a the Texas Star BQ. The weather was fantastic. Lots of visiting and catching up with our extended Star family. The FTC ride turned out a big success ,I think we had over 70 bikes. Saturday's ride was a little longer than planned but the country roads that we found were lets say adventurous to say the least, but  we got Edom and had a hardy breakfast. The bike games went  well with Jim and Brenda winning most of the first place medals .The banquet  Friday night had a few surprises for the Chapter Jim Cash and Gary McMillan recieved the ORDER OF THE  STAR award ,Kielyn recieved Top Teen and April
recieved Top Kid rockers. The Generator was won by Gary.
Looking forward to Star Days in July and Kerrville in 2011

                                                                                               JULY

Trip to Star Days started great Gary and Kielyn meet up with the Ragun Cajun and his chapter on Friday in Jackson Ms. and spent Two days riding the Natchez Trace up to Lynchburg Tn. The ride was great no stop signs or red lights for 444 miles at 50 MPH , lots of places to stop and take in the views.
Got to Chattanooga on Monday (hour late due to time change) to help out with Registration, and found out that Jim & Brenda's truck had broken down, and they were unable to finish the trip and headed home after repairs. Allen & Brenda Bradshaw continued on to Chattanooga,  All in all it was a good trip and a great Star Days.
Tuesday night diner on the river boat was cool, saw a lot of deer on the shore line. Gary ,Allen , Brenda and Kielyn with the bunch from Okla, made for quite a night.Wed. Gary skipped the FTC food drop and headed for the Mountains with the La. group. Allen and Brenda rode the  FTC food drop ,(thank goodness) Kielyn stayed behind and became ill, Many thanks to Allen and Brenda who left the food drop and picked up Kielyn at the motel, found a clinic and took her to it. Turned out to be something she ate, But without friends like Allen and Brenda it might have been worse.
Thurs. 313 went on a long ride to the mountains

The Henderson syrup festival ride turned into a car trip because of the cold wet weather, Tammy & Allan drove up from South La.
Turned out to be a great day, walked aroud the festival, watched  them make syrup, checked out some really old tractors and cotton gin, then toured the New London School museum , ended the day at the County Tavern for some out of this world Ribs
